My Photographic Scrap book......

I am inspired by the things I see around me, everyday items which I photograph, producing a permanent reference archive. The final work then contains, only echoes or ghosts, of the initial idea.
I update regularly, discarding old images for new ones I find, almost every day. Selecting what to put here is half the fun.

December 2013, the cold weather.....

Artichokes: I love the vegetable but will not cut them to eat `cos I love the flowers even more: August 2013

Feathers: These are duck feathers, so delicate to the eye but strong and fit for purpose when on our ducks! May 2013

Beekeeping: A hobby which can turn into a passion if your not careful. April 2013.

Dandelions: One mans weeds is another persons glory.

Old lavender seed pods have an evocative architecture I love.

This is a woolly bear caterpillar.
He is very common in the u.k. but his fine hairs can be an irritant if you get them on your skin.

Frost Formations:

Depending on the surrounding temperature and amount of humidity you get different shaped frost crystals.
